Cloud Services

Cloud architecture, migration, and cost control on AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud.

Cloud services cover the infrastructure your software runs on: compute, databases, storage, networking, and the pipelines that deploy new code. We design and operate environments on AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud, using serverless functions and containers where they fit and plain virtual machines where they do not.

You need help here when your monthly cloud bill keeps climbing without a clear reason, when deployments are manual and nerve-wracking, or when an on-premises server is reaching the end of its life. Growing products also hit a point where a single server cannot keep up and the architecture has to change.

Our approach is practical. We size infrastructure for the traffic you actually have, automate deployments with CI/CD pipelines, and set up monitoring so you hear about problems before your customers do. The same practices keep our own products, including vsNEW and SpamBurner, online every day.

What's Included

  • Cloud architecture design

Environment layouts, network boundaries, and service choices documented before anything is provisioned, with cost projections you can review.

  • Migration to the cloud

Moving applications and databases from on-premises hardware or an older hosting provider with a tested cutover plan and minimal downtime.

  • Serverless and container platforms

AWS Lambda, Azure Functions, Docker, and Kubernetes deployments chosen for your workload rather than for fashion.

  • CI/CD pipelines

Automated build, test, and deploy workflows in GitHub Actions or similar tools, so releases become routine instead of risky.

  • Infrastructure as code

Terraform or native templates that describe your entire environment in version control and make it reproducible.

  • Cost optimization and monitoring

Right-sizing, reserved capacity, usage alerts, and dashboards that keep spending predictable and performance visible.

How a Cloud Services Engagement Works

  1. 01

    Infrastructure review

We inventory what you run today, how it is deployed, what it costs, and where the single points of failure are.

  2. 02

    Target architecture

You get a diagram, a cost estimate, and a migration sequence that keeps production stable while the new environment comes online.

  3. 03

    Build and migrate

Environments are provisioned with infrastructure as code, pipelines are wired up, and workloads move over in planned, reversible steps.

  4. 04

    Operate and optimize

After cutover we tune performance, review the first invoices against the estimate, and hand over runbooks or stay on under a support package.

Who This Is For

  • SaaS companies outgrowing a single server
  • Businesses retiring on-premises hardware
  • Teams whose cloud bill has grown faster than their revenue
  • Engineering teams that still deploy by hand
  • Products that need reliable uptime without a full-time ops hire

Cloud Services FAQ

Which cloud provider should we use?
Usually the one your team already knows or the one that best fits your existing tools. AWS has the widest service catalog, Azure integrates tightly with Microsoft products, and Google Cloud is strong for data and analytics workloads. We work on all three and will recommend based on your workload, budget, and in-house skills rather than our preference.
How much do cloud services cost, and how long does a migration take?
Architecture reviews and well-defined migrations are quoted as fixed-price projects after we inventory your systems. Ongoing operations and optimization run on monthly time-and-materials retainers. Migration timelines depend on how many applications and databases are involved and how much downtime you can tolerate, so we give you a dated plan rather than a generic estimate.
Will migrating to the cloud reduce our costs?
Not automatically. Moving a poorly sized environment as-is often costs more than the hardware it replaced. Savings come from right-sizing, using serverless or scheduled capacity for uneven workloads, and switching off what nobody uses. We model the expected monthly bill before migration and compare it against real invoices afterward so you can see the difference.
How does an ongoing cloud support engagement work?
Support packages include monitoring, alert response during agreed hours, patching, backup verification, and a monthly review of cost and performance. You get a direct line to the engineers who built the environment rather than a ticket queue. Hours are pooled each month, and anything beyond the package is quoted separately before we begin.
Can you work with our existing DevOps team?
Yes. Many engagements are collaborative: we design the architecture or set up the pipelines, and your team operates them afterward. Everything is delivered as infrastructure as code with documentation, so your engineers can read, modify, and extend what we built. We are also happy to pair with your team during the migration to transfer knowledge.
