Mobile Development

iOS and Android apps built with React Native and Flutter, from idea to app store.

Mobile development means building an app your customers or field staff carry in their pocket, backed by APIs, push notifications, and offline support that keep it useful when the connection drops. We work in React Native and Flutter, which lets one codebase ship to both iOS and Android without doubling the budget.

A mobile app makes sense when your users need to act away from a desk: scanning, photographing, navigating, or getting notified in real time. It also makes sense when a web product has reached the point where customers ask for it on their phones.

We handle the parts that trip up first-time app owners: Apple and Google review, code signing, analytics, crash reporting, and the backend services the app talks to. For a complex application, plan on three to six months from kickoff to store release.

What's Included

  • Cross-platform apps

React Native or Flutter applications that share one codebase across iOS and Android while still feeling native on each platform.

  • Backend and API development

Node.js or Python services, authentication, databases, and cloud infrastructure built to support the app at launch and as it grows.

  • Offline and sync features

Local storage, background sync, and conflict handling for apps used in warehouses, vehicles, and other places with unreliable connectivity.

  • Push notifications and integrations

Notification pipelines, in-app purchases, maps, camera, payments, and third-party SDKs wired in and tested on real devices.

  • App store submission

Listings, screenshots, privacy disclosures, and review responses handled for both the App Store and Google Play.

  • Post-launch monitoring

Crash reporting, analytics, and over-the-air updates so you can fix issues quickly without waiting on a full store review.

How a Mobile Development Engagement Works

  1. 01

    Product definition

We map user journeys, decide which features belong in version one, and choose between React Native and Flutter based on your requirements.

  2. 02

    Design and prototype

Clickable prototypes let you test the flow on a phone before development, which catches layout and navigation problems early.

  3. 03

    Build in sprints

Features ship to TestFlight and Google Play internal testing every sprint, so you and your testers use the real app as it grows.

  4. 04

    Release and iterate

We manage store submission, monitor the first weeks of usage, and plan the next release based on crash data and user feedback.

Mobile Development FAQ

Should we build a native app or a cross-platform app?
For most businesses, cross-platform is the right call. React Native and Flutter deliver near-native performance, share one codebase, and cut both build time and ongoing maintenance. Native development is worth the extra cost only for apps that depend on heavy graphics, demanding hardware access, or platform features that cross-platform frameworks do not yet support well. We will recommend the option that fits your app.
How long does it take to build a mobile app?
Most apps we build fall within the three to six month range we quote for complex applications. A focused app with a handful of screens sits at the short end; one with offline sync, payments, and multiple user roles sits at the long end. The timeline also depends on how quickly designs are approved and how long Apple and Google take to review the submission.
What does mobile app development cost?
Pricing reflects the number of screens, backend complexity, integrations, and whether you need both platforms at launch. A clearly scoped version one is quoted as a fixed-price project. If you expect the feature set to change as you learn from users, time-and-materials with monthly budgets gives you more flexibility. We provide a written estimate after the product definition phase.
Do you build the backend as well as the app?
Yes. An app is only as good as the services behind it, so we design and build the APIs, databases, authentication, and cloud infrastructure alongside the mobile code. If you already have a backend, we integrate with it and recommend changes only where they are needed for performance or security on mobile.
Who owns the code and the app store accounts?
You do. We develop under your Apple Developer and Google Play accounts, or help you set them up, so the listings, reviews, and user data belong to your business from day one. All source code is delivered in a repository you control. If you later move development in-house or to another team, nothing is locked to us.
