UI/UX Design

Research-led interface design that makes complex products feel simple to use.

UI/UX design shapes how people experience your product: the flow they follow to finish a task, the words on each button, the hierarchy of a screen, and the visual language that ties it together. Good design is measured by whether users get things done, not by how a mockup looks in a slide deck.

You need design work when users struggle to complete key actions, when your product has grown feature by feature without a coherent structure, or when you are starting something new and want to test ideas before paying for development.

Because our designers sit alongside the engineers who build the product, every screen we deliver is feasible, annotated, and ready to implement. We designed Pairenthesis to make data cleaning approachable for non-technical users and SpamBurner to make lead management fit on a single dashboard.

What's Included

  • User research and interviews

Conversations with real users and stakeholders, plus analytics review, to understand what people are trying to do and where they get stuck.

  • Information architecture

Sitemaps, navigation structures, and content hierarchies that make a product easy to learn and hard to get lost in.

  • Wireframes and prototypes

Low-fidelity layouts that evolve into clickable Figma prototypes you can put in front of users before any code is written.

  • Visual design and UI

High-fidelity screens with typography, color, spacing, and components that reflect your brand and work on every screen size.

  • Design systems

Reusable component libraries and documentation that keep the product consistent as your team and feature set grow.

  • Usability testing

Moderated sessions and task-based tests that show whether the design works, with concrete fixes rather than vague opinions.

How a UI/UX Design Engagement Works

  1. 01

    Discover

We interview users and stakeholders, review your current product and analytics, and define the tasks the design must support.

  2. 02

    Structure

Flows, sitemaps, and low-fidelity wireframes establish how the product is organized before any visual polish is applied.

  3. 03

    Design and test

High-fidelity screens and prototypes are tested with users, refined, and extended into a component library.

  4. 04

    Deliver

Developers receive annotated Figma files, exported assets, and a design system, with our designers available during implementation.

UI/UX Design FAQ

Do you only design, or can you build it too?
Both. Design can be a standalone engagement where you take the Figma files to your own developers, or the first phase of a project we build end to end. Many clients prefer the second option because the same team that designed the screens implements them, which removes the handoff problems that cause designs to drift during development.
How long does a design project take and what does it cost?
A design sprint for a single feature or landing page is a short, fixed-price engagement. A full product design with research, prototypes, and a design system is a larger project that we scope and price after a discovery call. When design runs ahead of development as a continuous stream, we bill on time-and-materials.
How involved does our team need to be?
Expect to join a kickoff workshop, a review at the end of each phase, and short feedback rounds on prototypes. We also need help recruiting a few users for interviews and testing. Beyond that, we keep the process moving so that design does not become a bottleneck for your team or your development schedule.
Can you work within our existing brand guidelines?
Yes. Brand guidelines define the visual language, and we design within them while extending what they do not cover, such as interactive states, form patterns, and data-heavy layouts. If your guidelines are thin or outdated, we will point out the gaps and propose additions that keep the product consistent with your marketing materials.
What do we receive at the end of a design engagement?
You get organized Figma files with annotated screens, a component library, exported icons and assets, and a short document describing flows and design decisions. For prototype testing, you also receive a summary of findings and recommended changes. Everything is handed over in a form that developers can implement without needing to ask what a screen means.
