Quality Assurance

Manual and automated testing that catches defects before your customers do.

Quality assurance is the discipline of proving that software does what it is supposed to do, under the conditions real users create. It includes writing a test strategy, running manual exploratory testing, automating repeatable checks, and load testing the paths that matter most to your business.

You need dedicated QA when releases keep shipping regressions, when your developers spend more time testing by hand than building, or when a launch is important enough that a visible bug would damage trust. Regulated industries and payment flows raise the stakes further.

We bring the same test practices we apply to our own products, where an incorrect report or a failed form submission has a direct cost. Our engineers write automated suites in Playwright and Cypress, test APIs directly, and plug everything into your CI/CD pipeline so every pull request is checked before it merges.

What's Included

  • Test strategy and planning

A written plan that defines what gets tested, how, at which stage, and which risks are acceptable, so coverage matches business priorities.

  • Manual and exploratory testing

Experienced testers working through real user scenarios, edge cases, and unusual inputs that scripted tests miss.

  • Automated end-to-end testing

Playwright and Cypress suites that run browser flows on every commit and catch regressions long before a release.

  • API and integration testing

Contract and functional tests for your backend services, including third-party integrations and failure handling.

  • Performance and load testing

Simulated traffic that shows how your application behaves at peak load and where it breaks.

  • Mobile and cross-browser testing

Verification across devices, operating systems, and browsers, including accessibility checks against WCAG guidelines.

How a Quality Assurance Engagement Works

  1. 01

    Risk assessment

We identify the features whose failure would cost you the most and the areas where defects have historically clustered.

  2. 02

    Test design

Test cases and automation targets are documented and prioritized, with clear coverage goals for manual and automated work.

  3. 03

    Automation and execution

Suites are written, integrated into CI/CD, and run alongside manual passes, with every defect logged with steps to reproduce.

  4. 04

    Reporting and handover

You receive readable reports on coverage, defect trends, and release readiness, plus suites your team can maintain.

Quality Assurance FAQ

Can you test software you did not build?
Yes, and it is one of the most common reasons clients contact us. We can review an application delivered by another vendor, document the defects we find, and build an automated suite that protects you going forward. You receive an independent assessment of release readiness that you can share with the original developers.
What does QA cost and how is it billed?
A one-time test audit or an automation setup for a defined application is quoted as a fixed price. Ongoing QA that runs alongside your development team is billed on time-and-materials, usually as a set number of hours per sprint or month. We agree on coverage goals up front so you can judge what you are paying for.
How does QA fit into our existing development process?
We join your workflow rather than replacing it. Test cases are tied to your tickets, automated suites run in your CI/CD pipeline, and defects are logged in the tracker you already use. Your developers get fast feedback on each pull request, and your product owner gets a clear picture of release readiness before every deploy.
Should we automate everything?
No. Automation pays off for stable, repeatable flows such as login, checkout, and core data entry. It is a poor fit for features that change weekly or for judgment calls about usability. We recommend a mix: automated regression coverage for the critical paths, with manual and exploratory testing focused on new features and edge cases.
Do you test mobile apps as well as websites?
Yes. We test React Native and Flutter apps on real devices and simulators, covering installation, permissions, offline behavior, push notifications, and store-specific requirements. Automated mobile suites are possible for stable flows, and we use device cloud services when you need coverage across a wide range of hardware and operating system versions.
